The Professors relentless rhythms were without question the soundtrack of my youth and early musical endeavors. He is a Masterclass in precision, power and fluidity that shaped me as a musician. Neil Peart didn't just play the drums; he composed epic pieces, forever fueling my love for Rush and the complex architecture of Progressive Rock. Though the Professors sticks are silent, the echo of his creative, intellectual genius remains well with me.
